Project Summary

The project analyzed and documented critical regional characteristics of Dare County, North Carolina, resulting in a collection of synthetic diagrams and infographics illustrating various topics including: Drivers of Change, Potential Future Brownfields, North Carolina Hurricanes, Seasonal Shifts, and the Development and Redevelopment of the Alluvial Highway 12.

Coastal Dynamics Design Lab

The mission of the Coastal Dynamics Design Lab (CDDL) is to organize and lead trans-disciplinary research and design teams to address critical ecological and community development challenges in vulnerable coastal regions and shoreline communities, with a concentrated focus on Eastern North Carolina and the Mid-Atlantic coastal plain.
